3 entry-level project management jobs for Spring 2025 grads with $50K+ salary, texas-based or remote

🥳 Congratulations to our Spring 2025 Graduates! 🎓

For the months of May-June, we’ll be highlighting jobs for Spring 2025 grads.

Check out all live early career job openings on Forward’s job board, updated weekly.

Career Tip of the Week

Apply to jobs directly on company websites when possible, NOT through job boards. Here’s why!
  1. Job boards are a great way to source ideas of who is hiring, but there’s evidence that a lot of the big job boards sell data as a way to monetize. For example, I’ve seen a lot of anecdotal stories on Reddit of spam calls increasing after people applied through job boards like Monster.

  2. I also hear that recruiters start with the resume pile that came directly from their website to the ATS (Applicant Tracking System)

  3. It can be surprisingly difficult for companies to keep up with postings that go on third-party sites like LinkedIn and Indeed, so outdated job postings often get stuck there. The strongest “source of truth” is often the site itself.

🔈 Free workshop alert: how to match your resume to the job description

This isn’t your basic resume workshop.

We’ve been hearing from our job seekers that once they have a solid resume, it’s difficult to match their resume to the jobs they’re applying for. So we got you!

We have designed a 90 minute interactive workshop next Wednesday, May 28th 6:30PM CT to teach you how to better tailor your resumes to your dream job. For free, always.

Overheard from a recruiter

I’m having conversations with recruiters, hiring managers, and other talent decision-makers weekly, and want to share tidbits of what I’m learning with y’all here too!

Big career pivots are really tricky right now. I would advise people to job search to their existing skills, strengths, and networks and then pivot within the company.

- Head of Talent Acquisition

I know this is extremely frustrating to hear, but I agree with this advice.

It’s no secret that there is a lot of competition right now. Companies are inevitably prioritizing candidates who have direct experience, rather than taking a chance on someone who is shifting roles.

This person in particular (who hires a lot of early-career talent and believes in giving junior folks an opportunity!) said that their advice is to take advantage of where you have direct experience, get to know the company internally, and then take on more opportunity once you are through the door.

It isn’t impossible to shift into a new sector, company, or job type. But it’s important to be strategic with how you do it.

For example, if you have been working in customer service for a long time, but want to switch into tech, consider a customer success job AT a tech company (there are a lot of these jobs!) as a way to get your foot in the door.

Take a break

Job searching is hard work. You deserve a break. Here’s how I took time to rest and recharge this week!

This weekend, we got our creative juices flowing by attending the Affordable Art Fair in Austin! Affordable is a loose term here, everything we loved was at least $3k… but it did inspire my husband to come home and write a chapter of the book he’s been working on!
